Puzzles and mysteries are so much fun! I call these placement puzzles because in each puzzle, you need to determine the place of people or items. Did you know some types of logic puzzles are part of the entrance exam for law school? The puzzles found in Perplexing Placement Puzzles are a type of logic puzzle involving sequential ordering skills.  While this type of puzzle is often used for test preparation, our goal is to develop critical thinking skills. These puzzles promote perseverance and higher-order thinking. Most importantly, they are challenging, engaging, and FUN!

The first few puzzles introduce the concept through sequencing, but the puzzles quickly increase in difficulty. As you work through the clues, you will develop strategies that will help you with more challenging puzzles. You can do it!
